Castello, Camembert



Made from pasteurised cow's milk, without artificial preservatives nor fillers. The cheese is unadulterated and gluten free but unsuitable for vegetarians with the addition of animal rennet.

Camembert is known to be slightly more intense in character than the closely related Brie. It holds slight hints of caramelised butter and deeper tones of foraged mushrooms & herbs. The aftertaste is rounded and somewhat tangy, with a pleasant and soft finish.

Complements well with nuts and grapes or with a slice of toast or warm bread. Serve best at room temperature, remove from fridge half an hour before serving.
